The camera delivers an excellent 75% quantum efficiency in the yellow visual band and exceptional hydrogen-alpha sensitivity. Download speeds reach approximately 2.8 million pixels per second, while the two-stage thermoelectric cooler achieves CCD temperatures better than 40°C below ambient, enabling exceptionally low dark current for clean exposures. The integrated powered USB 2.0 hub allows direct connection of filter wheels and guide cameras to the camera body, reducing cable complexity during imaging sessions.
