TOA 130NFB Double ED Triplet Refractor Telescope

The Takahashi TOA-130NFB is the first of Takahashi's newest optical design: the Ortho-Apochromat, a 21st century innovation employing a newly designed triplet using special elements to produce the highest order of color correction. The Triplet Ortho-Apochromat concept makes it possible to combine sharpness and extraordinary contrast, with this unique optical formula based on a highly air-spaced ED triplet having the advantage of completely eliminating spherical aberration while achieving the best chromatic correction in the Takahashi telescopes range. The TOA excels in both high planetary resolution and deep sky imaging, fully exploiting the capabilities of cameras with the largest sensors. Equipped with an oversized 102 mm (4") rack-and-pinion focuser with 1/7 microfocuser and a Camera Angle Adjuster ring for photographic framing, this focuser supports the heaviest photo setups including large sensor CCD cameras, without mechanical constraints.
