CGX 1100 RASA

The CGX 1100 RASA V2 is an 11" f/2.2 Rowe-Ackermann Schmidt Astrograph with a focal length of 620mm, purpose-built for rapid wide-field astroimaging with rare-earth glass optics free of false color, coma, and field curvature. Created specifically for astrophotography, this telescope cannot be used visually and functions solely as an astrograph, paired with a heavy duty CGX computerized equatorial mount with 55-lb payload capacity. The reduced focal length minimizes exposure times, allowing capture of more frames per imaging session while maintaining proper resolution compared to traditional f/10 applications. The CGX mount features All-Star Polar Alignment, Celestron PWI telescope control software, and permanently programmable periodic error correction (PPEC).
