CGX 800 RASA

The CGX 800 RASA is a portable astrograph with an incredibly fast f/2.0 system designed for astronomical CMOS cameras, smaller CCD cameras, and mirrorless cameras, enabling sharp, detailed wide-field deep sky images with minimal need for autoguiding. The 4-element rare-earth optical design performs across a wider spectral range (400-800 nm) than conventional telescopes, and delivers a flat field free of optical aberrations like field curvature, coma, astigmatism and chromatic aberration across an entire APS-C sensor. Paired with the advanced CGX German equatorial mount offering 55 lb load capacity, this system easily supports the 17 lb optical tube along with accessories, making it an outstanding choice for portable deep-sky astrophotography from remote dark-sky locations.
