The CGX 1100 Schmidt-Cassegrain Telescope features Celestron's premium StarBright XLT coated optics and the CGX computerized equatorial mount, with the optical tube assembly weighing only 27.5 lbs while providing 89% more light gathering power than an 8" telescope and more than 40% more than the 9.25". Designed to better support both visual and astro-imaging pursuits, the CGX mount features a lower profile EQ head for enhanced stability, improved drive systems, remote operation compatibility with optical sensors, and better cable management. The computerized hand control features a 2-line by 18-character backlit LCD display with 19 LED buttons, USB 2.0 port for computer connection, and a 40,000+ object NexStar+ database. The CGX features belt-driven and spring-loaded worm drives, a significant upgrade that greatly improves guiding accuracy.
