The ZWO ASI461MM Pro is a high-performance cooled monochrome camera featuring the large-format 100MP Sony IMX461 sensor (44 x 33mm), delivering exceptional clarity with 16-bit ADC, high quantum efficiency, and zero amp glow circuitry for clean, low-noise images. With very low readout noise, nearly zero fixed-pattern noise, 3.76μm pixels offering a 50.3Ke full well capacity, and dual-stage TEC cooling that drops sensor temperature by up to 35°C below ambient, this camera significantly reduces noise for deep-sky imaging and scientific research. As a monochrome camera, each pixel captures pure luminance data without a Bayer matrix, enabling specialized narrowband imaging with hydrogen-alpha, oxygen-III, and sulfur-II filters to reveal structures hidden in broadband light.
