The ZWO ASI294MC is a versatile one-shot color camera equipped with Sony's IMX294CJK Micro-4/3 format sensor and 11.7 megapixel resolution with large 4.63-micron pixels ideal for high signal-to-noise ratio imaging of deep-sky objects. It's equally well-suited for fast, high-resolution lunar, solar, and planetary imaging. The back-illuminated sensor achieves exceptional quantum efficiency of over 75% with a 14-bit ADC delivering 13 stops of dynamic range, combined with an impressive 63,700-electron full-well capacity to prevent star saturation. The cooled Pro model integrates two-stage TEC cooling to reduce sensor temperature 35 degrees Celsius below ambient for low-noise deep-sky astrophotography.
