The QHY 5III-200M is a new-generation monochrome planetary and guide camera featuring enhanced near-infrared sensitivity ideal for imaging Jupiter, Saturn, and other bright celestial objects. Built on the Sony SC2210 sensor with 4μm pixels and extended NIR response (700-1000nm including the 890nm methane line), this versatile camera excels at both planetary imaging and autoguiding with fast frame rates up to 96.5 fps at full resolution. The camera includes modern features such as 512MB DDR3 image buffer, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C interface, and universal ST-4 compatible guiding port, all housed in a compact 1.25-inch barrel design compatible with standard telescope eyepiece adapters.
