The Sky-Watcher Flextube SynScan GoTo 12-inch Collapsible Dobsonian combines exceptional light-gathering power with motorized GoTo convenience in a remarkably portable package. Its 305mm parabolic mirror with 94% reflectivity delivers bright, detailed views of nebulae, galaxies, star clusters, and planetary detail across a 1500mm focal length. The innovative patented collapsible truss design collapses to just 36 inches for transport yet extends to 55 inches for observation without requiring disassembly, while the built-in SynScan GoTo system provides access to over 42,900 celestial objects. The dual-encoder Freedom Find technology allows manual control without losing alignment, making this telescope equally suited for automated observing sessions or spontaneous manual exploration of the night sky.
