Skymax 180

The Skymax 180 is Sky-Watcher's premier Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope, delivering crisp, contrasty views with exceptional high-level detail. This design produces a sharper image than Schmidt-Cassegrains, offering astronomers a large visual aperture, high contrast, and long focal length in a compact package. The optical design folds the light path to deliver a 2,700mm focal length in a tube just 500mm long, with a body weight of 7.8kg. The SkyMax-180 PRO is an exemplary performer when imaging the Moon and planets, but it's also surprisingly adept when observing the brighter deep-sky objects despite its large f/15 focal ratio.
