Skymax 150

The Sky-Watcher Skymax 150 is a Maksutov-Cassegrain design that delivers crisp, contrasty views with superior image sharpness compared to Schmidt-Cassegrains, offering a large visual aperture, high contrast, and long focal length in a compact package. These telescopes deliver higher levels of planetary detail due to a focal length that is 5-7 times longer than your average Newtonian or refractor telescope. Despite nearly 6" of aperture, the 150mm Skymax weighs in at just 14 lb, making it significantly lighter than a comparable refractor, making it ideal for planetary and lunar observation as well as deep-sky imaging when paired with appropriate mounts and accessories.
