CGX-L 14 Inch EdgeHD Telescope - 12077

The Celestron CGX-L 14 EdgeHD is an aplanatic, flat-field Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope that produces aberration-free images across a wide visual and photographic field of view, with optical design reducing off-axis star coma and providing an astrograph-quality flat focal plane all the way to the edge of the field. The award-winning optical system reduces visual defects like field curvature and coma, creating an ultra-flat field for pinpoint stars all the way to the edge of today's largest imaging sensors. The EdgeHD optics feature normal focal ratios of f/11 or f/7 with a focal reducer, plus Fastar capability for f/2 fast imaging, with StarBright XLT coatings for improved light transmission. Paired with the CGX-L German equatorial mount, this system is ideal for serious deep-sky astrophotography and detailed planetary and lunar observation.
