The CGX 925 HD combines Celestron's state-of-the-art CGX computerized equatorial mount with its acclaimed EdgeHD optical system, delivering over 1000 times the light gathering power of the unaided eye and designed to give diffraction limited performance with more resolution than smaller models and less weight than larger ones, making it a premier astroimaging telescope for remote operation. The advanced EdgeHD optical design features dual-element field flattener lenses that reduce off-axis coma and produce aberration-free images across a wide 42mm image circle. The CGX mount offers increased load capacity to 55 lbs with sturdier and more rigid construction and quicker dampening time, featuring the ability to track 20 degrees past the meridian on either side. The optical tube is aluminum with tube vents featuring an integrated 95-micron mesh filter, and the kit includes a 9x50 finderscope, 2" mirror diagonal, and 23mm Luminos 2" eyepiece.
