The CGX 925 HD combines Celestron's CGX computerized equatorial mount with its acclaimed EdgeHD optical system, offering diffraction-limited performance with more resolution than smaller models and less weight than larger alternatives, making it a premier astroimaging telescope for remote operation. The EdgeHD optical design features a dual-element field flattener lens that produces aberration-free images across a wide 42mm image circle, delivering an astrograph-quality focal plane more than three times flatter than a standard Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope.
