CGX Equatorial 925 HD Telescope

The CGX 925 HD combines Celestron's state-of-the-art CGX computerized equatorial mount with its acclaimed EdgeHD optical system. This telescope features a 9.25" aperture aplanatic EdgeHD Schmidt-Cassegrain design with premium StarBright XLT coatings that provide aberration-free images, making it ideal for both visual observation and serious astrophotography. Designed to give diffraction-limited performance with more resolution than the 800 and less weight than the 1100, the CGX 925 HD is a premier astroimaging telescope made for remote operation. The EdgeHD optical system delivers an astrograph-quality focal plane more than three times flatter than a standard Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope, with smaller, more concentrated stars that create brighter images and allow viewing fainter objects than equally-sized telescopes.
