The Celestron 8 Inch CPC Deluxe 800 HD is a premium computerized altazimuth telescope combining Celestron's award-winning EdgeHD aplanatic optical system with a robust dual fork arm mount. With its proprietary StarBright XLT coatings and flat-field design, this catadioptric system delivers sharp, aberration-free images edge-to-edge, making it ideal for both visual observation and serious astrophotography of planets, deep-sky objects, and galaxies. The integrated GPS, SkyAlign alignment technology, and NexStar+ hand control with over 40,000 celestial objects make this a versatile platform that tracks accurately for 30 seconds without an equatorial wedge, and can be upgraded for longer exposures with optional imaging accessories.
