The SkyHunter Portable EQ/AZ GoTo System is iOptron's lightest and most compact full-function portable goto mount to date, weighing only 2.9 pounds including internal rechargeable battery while supporting an 11-pound payload in both equatorial and alt-azimuth modes. It features four tracking rates (1X sidereal, 1/2X for sky and landscape combined, solar, and lunar) that work in both northern and southern hemispheres. The mount can be controlled by an iOS or Android smartphone or tablet, an optional 8410 hand controller, or a computer via ASCOM, INDI or embedded drive. This complete package includes an EQ wedge for alt-azimuth and equatorial functionality, a tripod with pier extension for equipment clearance, counterweight and shaft, and a MiniUSB charging cable.
