The iOptron SkyHunter Portable EQ/AZ GOTO Mount with iPolar is iOptron's lightest and most compact full-function GoTo mount, weighing just 2.9 pounds yet capable of supporting an 11-pound payload in both equatorial and alt-azimuth modes. It features dual-axis servomotors with optical encoders, four tracking rates (sidereal, 1/2X sky/landscape, solar, and lunar), and operation in both northern and southern hemispheres, making it ideal for grab-and-go astrophotography and visual observing. The integrated iPolar electronic polar scope enables precise equatorial alignment without requiring Polaris visibility, while the built-in rechargeable lithium-polymer battery provides up to 10 hours of operation.
