With an 8-megapixel sensor and 2.9µm pixels, it offers exceptional detail capture, while 91% peak quantum efficiency, ultra-low readout noise of 0.7 electrons, and zero amp-glow ensure clean, highly sensitive imaging even during extended exposures. At full resolution, the camera can record 47 frames per second, making it ideal for fast planetary and lunar imaging, yet the two-stage TEC cooling can lower sensor temperature more than 35 degrees Celsius below ambient for superior deep-sky performance.
