The QHY5III174M is a 2.3-megapixel monochrome planetary and guiding camera featuring a 1/1.2-inch SONY Exmore IMX174 CMOS sensor with global shutter. This camera produces high frame rates with the USB 3.0 interface, delivering 138 frames per second at full resolution and up to 490 FPS at selected ROI. The large sensor size makes it excellent for solar imaging, and the large pixel size combined with high quantum efficiency (78%) makes it excellent for deep-sky imaging as well. The camera supports guiding functions with a custom ST-4 guide port and compatibility with 1.25-inch, CS, and C-mount telescope interfaces.
