The Lunt LS40FHa is a front-mounted 40mm hydrogen-alpha double-stack solar filter designed for use with Lunt's 40mm dedicated H-alpha telescopes. This unobstructed etalon achieves a bandpass of approximately 0.70 Angstroms as a single unit, and when double-stacked with an additional etalon system, reduces the bandpass to roughly 0.50 Angstroms for significantly enhanced contrast and resolution of solar surface details, prominences, and edge features. The filter requires a Lunt Solar Systems Blocking Filter for safe solar observation and includes an adapter for double-stack configurations.
