The Lunt 130mm Universal Telescope is a complete refractor-based solar telescope system with a 130mm aperture and 910mm focal length (f/7) featuring a precision-aligned triplet ED apochromatic lens made of Ohara FPL51 glass. This modular refractor gives exceptional solar resolution and contrast while offering the flexibility to convert into a nighttime ED triplet refractor when the Sun goes down. The telescope features an internal etalon with tune adjustment that enables a less than 0.65 Angstrom bandpass, ideal for capturing fine solar details including prominences, filaments, and active regions. The modular design allows easy switching between daytime solar and nighttime celestial viewing modes without requiring more than a few minutes, enabling you to see granular surface detail when viewing the Sun and visual anomaly-free night sky objects when viewing after sundown with only one telescope.
