FRA400 Quintuplet APO Astrograph

The Askar FRA400 is a Flat-field Refractive Astrograph with a Petzval-like quintuplet design featuring a 72mm aperture, 400mm focal length, and f/5.6 focal ratio, providing a 44mm image circle. Two of the five elements are made from extra-low dispersion ED glass to reduce chromatic aberration, and the scope features built-in flat field correction eliminating the need for a separate field flattener. The optical design includes a retractable dew shield and a 3" rack-and-pinion high-precision focuser with a 360-degree rotator. This portable astrograph is ideal for wide-field deep-sky imaging and can be used for both astrophotography and visual observation.
