The Askar 80PHQ is a compact 80mm f/7.5 quadruplet refractor designed specifically for astrophotography with a built-in flat-field corrector. Featuring a 3+1 optical design with ED glass elements, it delivers sharp, well-corrected images across full-frame sensors without requiring a separate flattener or complex backfocus calculations. This portable astrograph weighs just 3.9kg and includes a robust 3-inch rack-and-pinion focuser with dual-speed adjustment, making it an excellent choice for deep-sky imaging where its long focal ratio provides excellent detail and star definition.
