NexStar 127SLT

The Celestron NexStar 127SLT is a 127mm Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope with a focal length of 1500mm and focal ratio of f/12, featuring a single fork arm altazimuth mount that allows the telescope to track desired objects as they appear to move across the night sky. The NexStar+ computerized hand control enables automatic slewing to any of 40,000 celestial objects, with a database including more than 600 galaxies, 300 clusters and dozens of binary stars. The entire telescope kit requires simple no-tool assembly and a fast SkyAlign alignment procedure, making it perfect for impromptu observing sessions and all-night stargazing marathons. Very light at only 18 lbs, it's portable enough to pick up fully assembled with one hand.
