Sol Ranger Solar Finderscope

The Coronado Sol Ranger is the easiest and most convenient method for finding the sun while using a dedicated solar telescope. This metallic tube features a pinhole aperture on the sun-facing end and a translucent viewing screen at the opposite end. When the sun is in the telescope's field of view, a small harmless ball of light is projected onto the opaque glass on the back, which can be easily seen from the rear of the telescope making proper alignment certain every time you set up. The Sol Ranger attaches securely to any Coronado clamshell mount with included screws.
