Bob's Knobs for Celestron 8" SCT - Standard are tool-free collimation knobs designed to replace factory collimation screws on Celestron 8" f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain telescopes made after 1980 with standard 6-32 collimation screws. These black plastic knobs with aluminum threads enable precise secondary mirror adjustments that can be made by hand, even while observing through the eyepiece, eliminating the need for Allen wrenches or screwdrivers. The included spacers accommodate various secondary configurations including Fastar-compatible models, and the factory dust cover fits normally with the knobs installed.
