The Baader Protective Wide T-Ring System for Canon EOS is a precision-engineered adapter designed to attach Canon EOS DSLR cameras directly to telescopes with minimal optical loss. Unlike standard T-rings, this system features a 2-inch wide aperture (47.3mm clear aperture) that accepts multiple attachment configurations and eliminates vignetting common in fast optical systems. The tight manufacturing tolerances and optimized design eliminate focal plane tilt and image shift caused by wobble, making it ideal for long-exposure astrophotography and planetary imaging. The modular system includes six configurable parts with support for standard T-thread (42mm), 2-inch nosepiece, and 48mm astronomical filter threads, plus an internal filter compartment accommodating both 2-inch mounted filters and 50.4mm unmounted filters.
