Star Adventurer Latitude (EQ) Base

The Sky-Watcher Star Adventurer Latitude (EQ) Base inserts between any standard photo tripod and the Star Adventurer Multi-Function Mount to add functionality for adjusting your system's latitude for smooth and reliable polar alignment. Attachment is achieved via a Vixen-style dovetail saddle and mounting block, while a 3/8" thread underneath can connect to virtually any tripod. Simply rotate the Latitude Knob to adjust latitude using the degree markers as a guide, with internal gearing helping the base consistently align with the north celestial pole. Crafted from durable metal and aluminum alloy, its slender and portable structure ensures easy deployment at any observational site.
