HAE69B iMate EC

The iOptron HAE69B iMate EC is a complete, ultra-portable observatory platform featuring dual strain wave gear drives, a high-resolution RA encoder, and a built-in iMate onboard control computer for automation and remote control. Despite weighing only 19.8 pounds, the HAE69B can support a payload of 69 pounds without counterweights, and up to 79 pounds with an optional counterweight system. The Linux-based iMate computer includes KStars, Ekos, and INDI drivers out of the box, allowing you to run your entire imaging workflow including mount control, slewing, polar alignment, focusing, plate solving, and capture without an external laptop. You can switch between equatorial and alt-azimuth modes; EQ mode is ideal for long-exposure deep-sky astrophotography, while alt-az mode is great for visual observing, planetary work, or EAA sessions where polar alignment may be inconvenient, with no meridian flips and faster setup time.
