Solarlite Solar Film Filter - 1.75" / 2.32"

The Thousand Oaks Solarlite combines optical quality of glass with the advantages of impregnated polymer, making it an ideal choice for safe solar observation. This 45mm (1.75") clear aperture filter fits telescopes and finderscopes with a 60mm (2.32") outer cell diameter. The filter will not develop pin holes and scratches that can ruin a filter, and will not tear or puncture, thanks to its proprietary SolarLite film technology. The lightweight design does not require re-balancing the telescope assembly, delivers consistent yellow-orange solar images with even density and a flat surface compared to other thin film filters that have wrinkles and creases.
