Spectrum 6.5" Full Aperture Film Solar Filter

This premium full aperture thin film solar filter enables safe daytime observation of the Sun through 6.5-inch telescopes by allowing only a safe amount of light to pass through. As an ND 5 filter, it blocks 99.999% of the Sun's visible light while rendering a natural yellowish-orange solar image suitable for both visual observation and photography. The durable 0.002-inch thick black polymer substrate features a single-layer absorptive design that will maintain its optical integrity for years with proper care, and minor warps or wrinkles in the film do not affect image quality.
