This premium full-aperture thin film solar filter provides safe white-light solar observation for telescopes, binoculars, cameras, and spotting scopes with tube diameters between 48-54mm. As an ND5 filter, it blocks 99.999% of the Sun's visible light while allowing safe viewing of sunspots and solar features in natural yellowish-orange color. The durable 0.002" thick black polymer substrate features single-layer absorptive filtering that resists warping, bending, and wrinkling while maintaining excellent image quality for both visual and astrophotographic observation.
