OIII 6nm CCD MaxFR Clip-Filter EOS APS-C

The Astronomik 6nm OIII MaxFR Filter is specifically designed for capturing images of planetary nebulae and other high concentrated OIII cosmic regions when using optical setups with fast focal ratios (generally faster than f/3 and up to f/2). With superb light transmission of 90% when using f/2 optics at the OIII 501nm spectral line, this clip-filter for Canon EOS APS-C cameras ensures adequate capture of details. By restricting wavelengths to the 501nm spectral line with a full width half maximum bandpass of 6nm and correcting for band shift that occurs with fast focal ratios, this filter accentuates the OIII spectral line and enhances the visibility of details with a wide range of camera sensors. The MaxFR filter line is manufactured using an entirely new process specifically designed for fast optical systems and focal ratios, resulting in extremely high contrast with no haloing.
