Farpoint Carey Focus Mask - Celestron 9.25 (Hyperstar/Fastar)

The FarPoint Carey Focus Mask is an ingenious new way to easily focus a telescope, designed for use with Celestron 9.25" SCT telescopes with Hyperstar or Fastar. Created by George Carey, an amateur telescope maker and astronomer from the UK, this mask is a modified design that provides a much more sensitive focusing version and has been universally named after its inventor: the "Carey Mask". The mask can be used to quickly and easily focus your telescope for all types of astrophotography with DSLRs or imaging systems, taking the guesswork out of focusing and ensuring tack-sharp views of stars, planets, and other celestial subjects. Instead of the traditional central spike design, there are four sets of slits with slightly different angles that produce two overlapping 'X' shapes; at perfect focus the Xs will be symmetrical.
