The ZWO ASI2600MC Pro is a dedicated, cooled, one-shot color astronomy camera with an extremely sensitive Sony IMX571 back-illuminated CMOS sensor in APS-C format, offering 26-megapixels for extremely detailed astrophotography. With a quantum efficiency of 91%, the camera records nearly all photons hitting its sensor, collecting more light more efficiently to capture faint targets like galaxies and planetary nebulae faster and with better detail. The innovative two-stage TEC cooling system improves the low-noise design of its CMOS sensor, resulting in images with so little dark-current noise that many astrophotographers skip taking dark frames for post-processing. The camera features a high-speed USB 3.0 interface, onboard DDR3 cache, zero amp glow technology, and an anti-dew heater, making it an excellent choice for deep-sky astrophotography.
