The QHY183C is a 20-megapixel cooled astronomy camera featuring a back-illuminated Sony IMX183 CMOS sensor with high sensitivity and 84% quantum efficiency, making it ideal for deep-sky astrophotography. The camera includes two-stage TEC cooling that cools the sensor to -45°C below ambient temperature, enabling low-noise imaging in challenging conditions. It is capable of 4K video output at 31fps and full resolution real-time output at 19 frames per second, with a built-in 128MB DDRII image buffer that caches images and transfers them to the computer when the USB interface is not busy, preventing frame loss. Designed for 1" format telescopes, it fits perfectly in compact astrophotography rigs.
